This Privacy Policy explains how Chat House (operated by Chat House Support LLC) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website or apply to join our chat operations team. By using our website at apply.thechathouse.net or submitting an application, you consent to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Chat House is a brand operated by Chat House Support LLC ("we", "us", "our"). We hire and train remote chat sales representatives. This policy covers our recruiting website and application process. 2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide and information that's collected automatically when you interact with our website.
Information you provide
- Application data via our Typeform application: your name, email, phone number, country, hours of availability, prior sales or chat experience, income goals, communication preferences, and your responses to qualifying questions.
- Booking information via our Calendly scheduling tool: your selected appointment date and time for the group tryout call.
- Direct communications with us via email, WhatsApp, Telegram, or other channels.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser data: IP address, user agent, device type, browser language, referring URL.
- Page activity: pages visited, time on page, interactions with our website.
- Ad attribution data: parameters like
fbclid,utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaignthat identify how you arrived at our site (e.g., from a Meta ad). - Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 4.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To review and process your application for a chat sales role.
- To communicate with you about your application, schedule tryout calls, and follow up on next steps.
- To send you reminders, training materials, and onboarding information if your application progresses.
- To measure and optimize our recruiting advertising performance (including via Meta's Conversions API).
- To improve our website, application process, and recruiting operations.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (web beacons, pixels) to operate our site, understand how visitors engage with it, and measure the effectiveness of our recruiting advertising. Specifically:
- Meta Pixel tracks your visit to our pages and reports back to Meta (Facebook/Instagram) so we can measure ad performance and build audiences. Meta may use cookies set by the Pixel to recognize you across sites you visit.
- Functional cookies support the site's operation, such as keeping you signed in or remembering your preferences.
You can control or block cookies via your browser settings. If you block cookies, some features of our site may not function as intended. To opt out of personalized ads from Meta specifically, visit Facebook Ad Preferences.
5. Who we share your information with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our recruiting operation, and only as necessary to do so:
- Typeform hosts our application form.
- Calendly manages our tryout call scheduling.
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) is our CRM where contact records are stored.
- Mailgun delivers our automated emails.
- Cloudflare hosts and serves our website.
- Vidalytics hosts the video content embedded on our pages.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) receives event data via the Meta Pixel (browser-side) and the Conversions API (server-side) for ad measurement and audience-building. Where we share personal identifiers (email, phone, name) with Meta, those values are hashed before transmission.
- Zapier bridges data between Calendly and our CRM.
We may also disclose information if required by law (subpoena, court order, government request), to protect our legal rights, or as part of a business sale or merger.
6. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and many of our service providers store data in the United States or other countries. If you access our site from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the U.S. or other countries where our service providers operate. By using our site, you consent to these transfers.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.

We retain your application data for as long as necessary to evaluate your application and operate our recruiting process, and longer if required by law. If your application is unsuccessful or you withdraw it, we may retain limited information (such as your email) to avoid re-contacting you about future applications unless you request deletion.
9. Children
Our website and recruiting process are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at colton@mischiefmedia.co and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls on our CRM, and vetted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-party links
Our site may link to external websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we'll provide a more prominent notice (e.g., a banner on the site or an email if we have your address). Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
